A little help.
A clearer next step.
Practical answers for the office and the field.
Draft for owner review — not ready for Intuit.
This is proposed wording, not an effective agreement or a final privacy notice. It has not been approved for publication, submitted to Intuit, or certified as legally sufficient. Do not enter this preview address in a production checklist.
The owner has supplied the operator’s legal name, mailing address, phone number and support/privacy email shown below. Contact details are no longer awaiting confirmation. Applicable legal requirements, hosting disclosures and the final app still need review, followed by separate publication approval. No effective date has been set.
Finding your way around
Open Preferences → User Manual for a guide to the app, or Preferences → Replay Tutorial to revisit the walkthrough. Office and Foreman workspaces show different tools.
A project or plan is missing
Check the account, company and job displayed on the screen without signing out or switching accounts as a troubleshooting shortcut. An access-verification error is not proof that work is missing. Keep the original data intact and note the error reference. Do not repeatedly retry, create another company, upload duplicates, or change ownership/project links to recover unclear records.
An alert or photo will not send
Check your connection and any error shown in the app. A visible item or a queued change is not proof that Cloud received it. Keep the app and its local data intact until you can confirm the record is available to the intended project members.
Changing phones or reinstalling
Company records can be stored in Cloud, but personal/legacy work, caches and pending changes may remain only on-device. Do not assume sign-in recovers everything. If your installed version includes Preferences → Phone Recovery, save the available local recovery copy to Files before changing devices. It is not a full backend backup or proof of transfer to another device. Do not reinstall, reset or replace the app to troubleshoot missing work.
Restoring or canceling a purchase
Use Restore Purchases on the app’s membership screen while signed into the Apple account that made the purchase. For subscriptions, go to iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Apple handles billing and refund requests. Account deletion does not cancel a subscription.
Deleting your account
Protect required work first, then use Preferences → Delete Account. A last company administrator must transfer administration before deletion. If Cloud refuses deletion or an error occurs, do not clear local work or treat deletion as complete. Confirmed deletion ends that account’s access; retained company documents, daily logs and saved safety-related reports stay with the company, with personal attribution removed where applicable. Private-file cleanup may be pending, and exported recovery files remain under your control. Deletion does not cancel Apple billing or automatically revoke a company’s Intuit grant. The live Safety Meeting checklist is a briefing, not a saved safety report. See the privacy draft for details.
Practice is not the internal sample company
Practice Project · Sandbox is private synthetic training for your account. Its sample attendance, quantities, report and tour progress are separate from real jobs and from PLS FEATURE TESTING - SAMPLE ONLY. Practice does not connect QuickBooks or send accounting records. If loading fails, keep any unconfirmed draft and follow the specific guidance; repeated retries cannot repair missing setup.
QuickBooks connection or delivery is unclear
Production access is not activated; internal sandbox testing is restricted to the authorized sample company. Keep any fixed QB-CB reference from a failed callback, but never send its browser URL, authorization code, tokens or credentials. Stop and review the attempt before trying again. A Configured label is not a connected confirmation. A connection does not authorize an Estimate send. If delivery is uncertain, do not start a new send or alter the source/mappings to force a retry. QuickBooks disconnect does not erase existing Estimates or export history.
Mailbox connection and captured bids
Availability depends on provider setup. App-side disconnect does not guarantee provider revocation; review access in the Google or Microsoft account too. Disconnecting does not automatically remove bids or PDFs already captured. Do not share mailbox passwords, sign-in codes or connection links in support messages.
Protect the original before troubleshooting.
If work may exist only on your phone, do not uninstall the app, clear its data, or replace it with a test build until a recovery path has been confirmed.
